About me
I am an award-winning journalist and documentary producer. Most recently, I worked for ABC's late-night news program 'Nightline' and for the streaming show 'Impact x Nightline' on Hulu focusing on character-driven stories and in-depth reporting on major news stories. I previously worked for Business Insider producing highly visual stories with a strong business angle covering different companies and industries around the world. I looked into the effects of palm oil plantations in Guatemala, interviewed Amsterdam sex workers about proposed changes to the Red Light District, and took a closer look at supersonic planes making a comeback.
Other highlights include a compelling sit-down interview I booked and conducted with Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio that won a Telly Award, a visual investigation that decoded symbols seen at the Capitol riots, and a mini-doc on Russian oligarchs that gained almost 2 million views.
I also covered Latin American affairs and U.S. politics in Spanish for Telemundo, and the 2016 presidential campaign from Florida for Univision.
I developed my passion for news growing up in my hometown of Caracas, Venezuela amid the political conflict. As a Latina, I am also passionate about covering issues affecting the Hispanic community.
I currently live in New York with my husband.
